Dark blue, wool coat. Gold buttons read "R.C.A.F." Patches on shoulders read, "U.S.A." Probably jacket worn for uniform.
Probably from Marion Soomsky's brother, Sanford Soomsky, who joinced the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2 because he was not allowed to join U.S. Air Force, since age restriction was 21 and he was 19—20 years old. According to oral history transcript from Marion Soomsky, he died September 30, 1942.
