Genealogy for the Student
Steven Friedman, CJHS Genealogy Committee member, will present an introduction to genealogy to the 8th grade class of Temple Israel, February 22, 2015.
Students will be learning about their family’s heritage and if possible, should be able to identify who they were named for specific to their English and Hebrew names and should come prepared with any derivations in the spelling of their last name. Students are to bring family memorabilia to share and discuss with the group.
