This first permanent home of the Columbus Talmud Torah, later known as the Columbus Hebrew School was dedicated in November, 1922. Prior to this time they had met at Agudas Achim, then Beth Jacob Synagogue, and finally at the Livingston Avenue School.
On the dedication day a parade began at Beth Jacob on Donaldson. It proceeded to stop at Agudas Achim on Washington St, then onto Ahavas Sholom and Tifereth Israel. The parade culminated at the new school on Rich St. Homes and synagogues along the parade route were decorated in celebration.
