By 1903, the Columbus reform congregation had outgrown its first location and built again. Now called Temple Israel, this new building was located on Bryden Rd. It was built to house 750 members and had a large school. The main seating area had intricate wood patterns and a large organ. There was decorative ironwork and large stained glass windows. Very much in keeping with other reform congregations of the times, the men and women sat together. This location served the membership until 1959 when they moved further to the east on Broad St.
